Hi, I’m Tahlia. I’m a dermal therapist and laser technician with a strong passion for upholding industry standards and advancing skin education. I have been in the skin industry for nearly 20 years!
My strengths lie in guiding your technicals skills to ensure you feel comfortable with a patient on the bed, you can comfortably identify skin concerns and choose the right tool to tackle them with. I will help you to identify clinical end points when it comes to using laser and energy based technologies.
With years of hands-on experience and a commitment to evidence-based practice, I bring both clinical insight and a love for learning to everything I do. As a key educator at SkinRight Skin School, I’m here to support your journey—breaking down complex concepts, sharing practical knowledge, and helping you build confidence in your skills. I can’t wait to help guide and inspire you as you grow in this dynamic field.

I'm interested to know about the people behind the business and what their motivation is. I like to know if I identify with them and what makes their company tick. So here’s our about us…
Dr Samantha Davidson
I’m Dr Samantha Davidson and I run and own a boutique dermatology practice that specialises in general medical dermatology and over the last ten years I have slowly built in an aesthetics arm to the practice. My day is jam-packed with patients of my own, and I've always found it very difficult to balance working on the business with working in the business, seeing and managing all of the patients, as well as training and supervising staff. Internal education is something that is so important if your staff members are to align with your values and work to the standard you require. But I found I was always putting this on the back burner. Whenever we hired new staff, it was a real challenge to make sure everybody was on the same page and as we grew bigger this became more difficult. I also noticed that staff came to us with wildly different levels of education
The more I looked into this the more I realised that unless you have followed a very traditional pathway via medicine, access to dermatology education is otherwise completely unregulated and it is not uniform
I found myself often doing mini inservices on the fly with our staff, never fully able to commit to longer than 10 minutes at a time, in between patients and not having the time to circle back to ensure that what we have discussed had solidified with my staff
And so SkinRight Skin School was born
I have a family with three small children. I run the business and I work seeing patients in my private clinic as well as holding a public hospital position. So this well and truly has been a labor of love . Many late nights spent creating the content for this course have finally culminated in production of these initial course guides and workbooks and I know I have so much more to offer you
My WHY, may be somewhat selfish; I didn't want to have to repeat myself every time we hired a new staff member. I wanted all of my staff to excel and I wanted my business to flourish, but my WHY can turn into your HOW. Let me show you how your education can flourish.
